"Anticipatory Changes are changes that whether we want to or not, they are going to happen. In the Fall of 2020, I went into the [US Border Patrol Museum in El Paso, Texas]. They had these statues there and they were proud to say these were going to be most of the security guards by 2030. So this is what it's going to be. I'm thinking of Amazon too use all these robotics. Well, we're going to see them around all over."

"I was trying to see if street art defines a neighborhood, or if the neighborhood defines its street art. The fighter jet symbolizes the threats we face after 9/11: Iran, Afghanistan, ... No place is 100% safe."

Southern Towns, USA: Clarksdale, MS

"The painting is from a new series that I did in a trip with my brother. They're
from Southern towns. Some of these towns were like Clarksdale, Carrollton (MS), just amazing how down and out they were. Hardly any people in some of these towns just wandering around, and I was surprised to see how conservative some of these towns were. Some of these towns didn't allow you to have street art. They didn't even allow people to paint their house a certain color. I did about 15 paintings in the series."

"I started painting my daughter soon after she was born, and I have a portrait of her for almost every two years of her life. I was on a mission to show young children and women as very important subjects. So, every time I paint a woman or child, I try to make them look right at you, or they're always creating something."

"This is a scene from Clifden on the northwest side of Ireland. I actually painted this twice because I put it on the roof of my car when I finished the first time and I drove off without it. In the first painting, the woman was looking at the man, and then in this one, she is not paying any attention. I have a series of paintings that are truly genre paintings. They are often not very big, but they have a narrative."
